Summary
This project was developed as part of a tender for the redesign of the Inspiration Store e-commerce platform for British American Tobacco, in collaboration with the Quanti agency. The goal of the project was to design a more modern digital retail experience that would bring the existing e-shop in line with current e-commerce design standards. I collaborated on the project with another UI designer, and we consulted on the designs on an ongoing basis with a UX specialist from the Quanti team.

About
British American Tobacco is an international company operating in the tobacco and nicotine products sector, known for brands such as glo, Vuse, and Velo. The Inspiration Store serves as the official online platform for showcasing and selling these products on the Czech market.
Problem
BAT needed to create a new website design that would align with its recent rebranding as the Inspiration Store.
The challenge was to create a more visually modern and user-friendly interface that would:
improve navigation through the product lineup
align with the company’s new brand
maintain visual continuity with the existing brand
avoid appearing too playful or “childish,” as these products are intended only for users 18 and older

Solution
For the tender, we designed three key pages of the e-commerce interface:
Landing page – a homepage with a clear overview of product categories and a visual focus on product photos
Product list page – a product catalog page designed for quick browsing, filtering, and comparing items
Product detail page – a product detail page with a clear information hierarchy and supplementary elements, such as user reviews or recommended products
The design focused on:
clean and structured layouts
modern typography
clear navigation and a logical information hierarchy
the use of high-quality product photos as the main visual element

Results
The result was a modern e-commerce interface design.
Although the design was not ultimately selected for implementation, the project serves as an example of a comprehensive e-commerce interface design and the collaboration between designers and UX specialists during the selection process.
