Summary
The goal of the project was to create a comprehensive website design for the Eledu educational platform, which focuses on teaching electrical engineering through hands-on learning tools.
The project involved creating the website’s visual style, designing the user interface for the main pages, and developing designs for both desktop and mobile devices.
About
Eledu is an educational project focused on teaching electrical engineering in schools. Its goal is to make technical education accessible to students through hands-on tools and experiments.
Elabrix products provide schools with educational kits that help students develop technical skills and an intuitive understanding of electronics. Instruction is based on the principle of hands-on discovery, where students work directly with components and conduct experiments.
Problem
The company needed a modern website that would clearly communicate both its product and its teaching philosophy.
The challenge was to create a design that would be:
accessible and easy to understand for students
professional for schools and teachers
visually playful, yet not childish
At the same time, the website had to explain a relatively complex product in a simple and clear manner.
Solution
At the start of the project, the client provided a logo in three color variations along with several basic graphic elements.
Together, we selected the final color variation, which subsequently became the basis for the website’s entire visual style.
I designed five main web pages, including:
the homepage
product pages
project pages
other informational sections
The design was created in Figma and included:
the desktop version of the website
the mobile version
typography design
UI component design
visual style guidelines
Throughout the design process, I was in constant communication with the developer who would later implement the website to ensure the design was ready for seamless implementation.
The project also included the creation of print materials, specifically:
roll-up banners
promotional flyers
Results
The result of the project is a modern web design that presents the Eledu educational platform in a clear and accessible way. The design combines the technical nature of the project with user-friendly visual communication suitable for an educational environment.
