Summary
MTRNM is a minimalist metronome app designed as a university project. The goal was to create a simple and intuitive tool for musicians that allows them to quickly set the tempo, time signature, and sound of the metronome without any unnecessary distractions.

About
MTRNM is a mobile app designed for musicians who need a fast and reliable metronome for their daily practice. The main goal was to create a tool that is as intuitive as possible, easy to use, and focused solely on key features.
The app was designed and subsequently fully implemented using the Flutter framework, which ensures smooth operation across various platforms.
Problem
Many existing metronome apps include a large number of features and visual elements that can distract users while they practice. The challenge, therefore, was to design an interface that offers all the essential features while remaining uncluttered.

Solution
When the app launches, users are first presented with a welcome screen where they can choose to log in or sign up. This step provides a clear entry point into the app and allows users to save their settings.
After logging in, the user is taken to the app’s main screen, which contains the metronome interface itself. Here, they can quickly adjust the tempo, select a time signature, or choose a metronome sound.
The app also includes several additional interfaces:
Metronome Sound Selection - The menu listing available sounds is designed as a simple scrollable list. The selected sound is clearly highlighted so the user can immediately see the current setting.
Time Signature Settings - This menu uses simple controls with plus and minus buttons, allowing for quick adjustment of both the upper and lower time signature values.
Sidebar - The sidebar provides access to other parts of the app, such as favorite presets, app settings, or project information.
Favorites - Users can save their favorite metronome presets, which include tempo, time signature, and sound. This allows frequently used configurations to be quickly recalled.
Settings - The settings section allows you to adjust the app’s preferences.

Solution
The result of the project is a fully functional metronome app.
The project included:
design of the complete UI/UX for the mobile app
design of the app’s user flow
design of a minimalist visual style
implementation of the app using the Flutter framework
Key Takeaways
The project was particularly interesting because it combined app design and development into a single process.
As a result, the project provided valuable experience in the following areas:
UI/UX design for mobile apps
creating minimalist digital interfaces
designing user flows
app development using the Flutter framework
